Seminar on Social safety Net Program
Details
In Karnafuli Upazila, a seminar on the role of social safety net activities in socio-economic development was held today on 04/06/2024 by the initiative of Upazila Social Services Office, Karnafuli, Chittagong.
Field supervisors of social services office, union social workers, technical trainers, local dignitaries, local journalists, retired teachers and village committee presidents of various project villages and leaders of mother centers participated in the seminar which started from 11.00 am.
Upazila Social Service Officer Mr. Sabur Ali served as the moderator of the seminar. Mr. Farooq Chowdhury, Honorable Chairman of Karnafuli Upazila Parishad, was present as the chief guest in the said seminar.
Mr. Md. Faridul Alam, Deputy Director, District Social Services Office, Chittagong presented the main article in the seminar. Besides, Mr. Mohammad Wahidul Alam, Assistant Director, District Social Service Office, Chittagong and Mr. Urbashi Dewan, Assistant Director, District Social Service Office, Chittagong were present as discussants in the said seminar.
